Why PADI Dry Suit Diver?
If you are want to enjoy UK diving all year round, then dry suit diving is the only way to go. You can remain immersed for longer and no more freezing to death in the carpark changing out of the wetsuit at the end of the day. Its peel off and shoes back on, ready to go in minutes.
Using a dry suit is not difficult but can be hazardous without proper training. Also if you want to hire a drysuit in this country you must have a drysuit certification.
What do I need to start?
- PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
- Minimum age: 10 years old
What will I do?
- Care & maintenance of your drysuit
- Using your suit for buoyancy control
- Emergency procedures
How long will it take?
- Recommended Course Hours: 1 day
- Minimum Open Water Training: 2 dives (one confined)
What will I need?
- Dry-suit Pak, which includes manual, video and log insert
How much will it cost?

Where can I go from here?
You can count the Drysuit Adventure Dive from your Adventures In Diving program as the first dive of the Specialty course at instructor discretion. This Specialty course certification also counts as one of five Specialty certifications required for Master Scuba Diver certification.
